Discussing the Future of Europe and the Kyiv moment with Kyriakos Mitsotakis

During my latest Athens visit I joined the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis for a talk about the main challenges that are confronting Europe at the moment. The Russian war in Ukraine overshadows all our discussions. I feel we are living in a Kyiv moment in Europe. It is a defining moment where we feel very strong again what it means to be European. We touch on energy, defence, Turkey and how to make Europe more democratic.
